Well it's almost that time again. Back to School ! This can be an exciting time for children. Maybe they are commenicing high school, a new school or sometimes their just happy to see all there friends again. Mums and Dads can have mixed emotions when school starts again ~ some are happy to get the kids out of the house and back to school, some want the holidays to last forever, but I would suggest most are dreading those lunch box mornings !

It's a Maree Thing ~ Out and About

Well a 42 degree day didnt stop us Two Maree's from venturing out to the Anglican Church market day on Sunday 2nd December in Blackall.  "BOUY  it was HOT " !!!!!! but crowds of people flocked  down in the late afternoon to check out what the locals had for sale and to get those last minute christmas presents!    

We had a great day sales wise and enjoyed showing off some of our new ranges of goodies.

The Two Maree's - Out & About

Well Well... it is so close to the launch of our website, you can only imagine how hard it is for both of us to sleep at night. We are so EXCITED !!!

A few weekends ago, we made a road trip to Barcaldine {1hr away from our our home town} for their monthly markets. It was a huge success, sales were brillant.  We sold over 40 Whirly Windmills to the Children and plenty of cute toys to the mums and grandmas for Christmas presents. We filled pages with customer email addresses and handed our tonnes of business cards. We had so much fun!!

Last weekend we took off again, on another road trip to the monthly markets in Longreach. {2hrs away from home}  Again sales were good and we gave out plenty of business cards. Our Homemade It's a Maree Thing Unforgettable Fugde was definately a HIT !

Well off to the Markets we went!



The Blackall Kindergarten hosted theTwilight Market Night on September 7th.



The "Two Maree's" decided, though their website wasnt quite up and running for business, it was a fabulous opportunity to load there car's of products, head on out to the community and
SPREAD THE WORD  "It's a Maree Thing" was

Our store had plenty of 'Pretty Things'on offer, and the Blackall Community showed so much support and congratulated us on such a gorgeous range of products.

We look forward to attending many more markets stores around our region, and also look forward to the launch of our online store very soon! So Exciting
